Speaking of that, less then 2% of white Americans owned slaves at the height of slavery. Does that mean only there relatives would have to pay? What about people who didn't even have relatives here during slavery? My family wasn't here until the 1900s and they immigrants who were oppressed themselves in the early days. I shouldn't have to pay a cent.

It's such a stupid demand. Taxes could support especially Black communities, districts etc. But not individual persons.

I'm all for that tbh, I think tax money would be much better spent on black communities, so they can have better jobs and education.

I completely agree. Half of my ancestry wasn't even in America until the early 1900's
