decriminalization isnt legalizing them

rape cant be equated with drugs because there arent worldwide crime organizations profiting massive amounts of money off of the sale of rape. the sale of drugs fuels gang warfare and terrorism(mexican cartels and such).  so legalizing it should actually be looked into. just like when they prohibited alcohol in america, a black market was created and fueled the rise of the american mafia. prohibit something and there will be criminals that step in and take over the market and violence/deaths ensue. of course there are certain things that will need to remain illegal but legalization isnt some kind of awful idea.

Decriminalization would lesser the penalty and eventually make the penalty redundant and by consequence lead to it being legalised. 

In fact there are many large crime organisations profiting from the sale of prostitution, which is rape and often is run by the very same organisations that profit massively from drugs. What do you think would happen to these crime organisations if you legalised drugs? Would they disappear? I think not. If you think your government hasn't already thoroughly discussed the option of legalising drugs and reached the correct conclusion, I'm a afraid you're the stupid one, not me. 

As for your little inference of my being a racist, I think you'll find I labelled BLM as the most 'idiotic', not the most morally unfortunate, or in fact, not the worst.

the criminal organizations would take a massive hit in profits as the mafia did when they legalized alcohol again.  and then they turned to dealing drugs and came back stronger than ever. governments always change their laws as they did with gay marriage and how states are doing with marijuana right now. governments always thoroughly discuss these things and if you dont think those discussions dont end with wrong conclusions then with someone like you we would have never ended slavery or any of the other horrible things they thoroughly discussed in the past. Reparations? That's just a far fetched fantasy of theirs. Isn't really plausible and will definitely cause further divide and issues. 

Decriminalise drugs? This I can get behind. If drugs were decriminalised and regulated we (the UK) would gain mass profit and tourism. Death rates would decrease as the government would be able to control the substance and the profit margin would be incredible. Less crime, deaths and police time/resources and more jobs and money in the country. Stand behind this whole heartedly.
