Yeah, I completely agree, although I think the disco-infused pop trend has been and gone with the likes of Uptown Funk, Blurred Lines and Get Lucky. I think Gaga's definitely going down a different route. The most obvious hint so far is this Instagram post (not sure why people haven't talked more about this): I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! I mean, she knew how to play the guitar before starting this record, so I don't think learning it would be a reason why it's taking forever. But, rock is something that she's very familiar with, so maybe trying to perfect the album so it has the rock feel is a reason why the album's not out yet, but who knows, for all we know, the album is almost complete.
