In all likeliness, I'll force myself to vote Hillary in November simply because this election has a presidential threat unlike anything we've seen before and I don't want to suffer through 4 years of Trump/Pence and the decades of ramifications we may see after it. I'll likely bitch about Hillary all the way to the ballot box, but neither of the 3rd party candidates are good enough to warrant me doing otherwise. The Democrats will pull more to the center, to try and get those white, male, less educated votes and Religious votes from Tea Party types because they will prove that they have the power. The next election will be about keeping the immigrants out, law and order, racism, and division and it will have already filtered down to the local and state levels. Politics follow the winners, not the losers. If people want the Democratic Party to continue to move to more progressive ideas, they have to show that they will vote for a platform that is adding progressive ideas. By support her, I did mean vote for her But if you want someone(thing) to back in this election, Bernie's transformed the Dem. platform that Hillary's running with to be even more progressive. Take a look at some of her stances and policies, she's actually really agreeable imo. https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/ It only gets better when you consider that Bernie and his vocal supporters will continue to influence her and make her keep the promises she's made like overturning citizens united and the plan for tuition free college that she and Bernie made together. Plus she'll be able to build upon the great work Obama's done instead of wanting to do a total 180 on all of it. Spoiler And she'll appoint 1-3 members to the SCOTUS who'll be moderates or progressives where as Trump would get in three of these nozzles: So yeah, if you don't like her, her past, her character, whatever it is, I'm sure you could support the platform she's running on The biggest issue in this election for me is, shockingly, not one of human rights. It's climate change. Trump outright denies that it exists (he calls it a "Chinese-made conspiracy to weaken the U.S. economy") while Hillary realizes how dire the situation is and she has some great ideas on how to transform our energy sector from fossil fuels to renewable/clean energy.
