Why he being so dramatic? American politics is ALWAYS dramatic Every election every candidate swears the other will DESTROY the country But we all secretly live for the drama so.... Why he being so dramatic? Lots of people prioritize social issues (which in many ways are intrinsically linked to things like the economy and foreign affairs ) in deciding who to vote for for president. Currently being socially conservative is becoming less and less tolerable in America (thank god ), the Republicans know that, which is why they want to kind of distance themselves from the overtly Religious Right; its losing them elections. This is why parties like the Libertarian party can get almost 15% of the vote now; more people want Socially Liberal, Fiscally Conservative policies The Democrats and Green Party are a bit more complicated, but yeah. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
REALITY 80,162
I'm thinking that too. Especially after Trump, the Republican Party will never be looked at the same again, both by its own party members and by the people of the United States. Trump has ignited a racist, misogynistic—among other things—people that are now showing their true colors. I mean, I despise Ted Cruz, but the fact that he got booed from the RNC for not supporting Trump shows most of the Republican voters true colors. Besides, in a society that's getting more progressive, it's more likely that there won't be another Republican president—or at the least, not one for a long time. On topics like abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, racial equality, the support for them is only getting bigger, and society is changing along with it. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢. River 127,357
Americans don't need to apology that they want progression and human rights and a REAL democracy, something that the Republicans can't provide them because they still living in the medieval age. In that order." I'd say the religious right is about all they have at this point so they're pandering as hard as possible to keep them on their side Spoiler Once the baby boomers die off though, the GOP will truly either be forced to evolve or go extinct. Win-win, baby True true, they are hunkering down. I think its because they need the religious right for their voter turn out, and Trump doesn't inspire confidence in the religious right so much because hes not very religious himself Even if he did take on some of their pleas in this disgustingly homophobic regressive platform, he doesn't exude the same sheer level of ignorance that Mike Pence does That's why I find it kind of interesting that Ted didn't endorse Donald yesterday 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
