We should thank them. Maybe a nice gift basket with some ironed Confederate flags and a few arm bands with bedazzled swastikas on them :flutter: or maybe we can have their hoods dry cleaned?

It doesn't sound like he's white supremacy . He's telling the truth. Over 90% are old white people

Oh my....what a completely ignorant statement! :smh:

The black woman on the panel was having trouble holding it together. I bet her blood pressure went up to stroke level. Kudos to her for getting out a couple of sane, calm statements. Oftentimes, I don't know how people hold it together in the face of such ignorant racism. Sadly, it might just be that they have had to get used to it from certain segments of the government and from the GOP.

I agree..."old white ppl" is so old hat by now, but it's so much more practical then saying "racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, ignorant assholes"...

What if instead of "old white ppl" we called them "softcore nazis", would that turn your frown upside down, Mr. King?

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

My God what are these people still doing in positions of power.

REALITY

I get what Steve King was trying to say, but what he said was just completely ignorant. I get that he wants to say that a lot of history developed through Europe, which is true; however, claiming that no other minority or any other group of people contributed nothing is not only completely false, but just plain arrogant.

If he wants to go back in history, sure, let's bring up the ancient civilizations in Asia, Mesopotamia, Africa, etc. Let's bring up technologies and advancements, many of which were developed in other places besides Europe and by other people besides white people. He wants to talk about history, but completely eradicate most of it!

And he's a congressman?! The ignorance of him and people like him are beyond me.

Honestly it doesn't surprise me. In the slightest that Republicans and the people inside the RNC feel this way especially when this is what happened when a woman held a sign up that said "No Racism No Hate."

Here's the full video of the woman trying to hold a sign that said "no racism no hate" and being covered by Trump supporters with the American flag at the Republican National Conventional.

Where do people find these idiots? And then these same people decide they are fit to work in Congress? Get me off this rock...

I'm speechless at this point. I'll just sit back and enjoy as they ruin their chances of ever being in power again :smh:
