I mean, she does have a huge career and a great title in music industry, bur back in 90s she had #1 after #1 and now she's struggling to enter the charts? No hate or shade, just asking you as a fan. She's just very lazy and barely promotes her stuff. When she does they do chart very well. 1 performance helped AIWFCIY reach a new peak of #11 last year. #Beautiful could've easily been Top 10 but then she injured herself and subsequent promo was stopped. The reason TEOM was massive was because she has massive promo. Promotion. #Beautiful had good promotion, many interviews and performances but when it started to rise, she injured herself. After that, Jermaine Dupri was her manager because he told her that he knows how she can make more hits etc. well, he was responsible for the mess that is MIAM. After that, Mariah got a new Manager, but the Record Label didn't want to put even more money into this Album and she was tired of it too. With Infinity, she had one 'huge' performance, but she wasn't in the right state of mind. With her new Manager Stella, she got her shit together, and AIWFCIY peaked at #11 and gave the Hallmark Channel their highest watched Movie and Christmas Special (both 5M Viewers) - her directed Movie also got publishing rights to many other countries and will be shown there this Christmas. With her next Album, Stella already promised us a 19th #1. Migrate and I'll be Loving U Long Time should have been the Singles. Bye, Bye is nowhere near good those two. Mariah needs to do something inventive for her next Era.
