Unarmed 19 y o boy Dylan Noble has been shot to death by policemen in California. They shot him, he laid down but fails to put his hands above so they shot him again - this time to the death. The police had alleged reports that he may have been armed but they didnt find any evidence. No gun was found afterwards. I just dont get it. Arent american policemen trained to aim at arms etc and not shoot people to death if they have no clear evidence the subject is armed ? Or american policemen are above laws and God and they can kill people with no evidence, just because they dont act too much obediently in their opinion ? They are train to shoot to kill when there is cause. I am not a shoot first ask questions later person and I do believe that police have used excessive force in the past and probably will in the future, but this guy deserved to get shot. A lot (not all tho) of policemen are filthy pigs going through a power trip, shooting people only feeds their egos. One of my good friends was talking about this attitude earlier today. He knows an ex-police officer and he says that attitudes like this were rampant throughout his coworkers. They let their power go to their heads and start believing they really are above other people. Of course, not all police officers are like this, but the man said it was noticeable enough in his coworkers for him to worry about it. A lot of them don't even take the time to process the situation; they shoot first and ask questions later. It makes it worse that they don't believe in nonfatal methods. If civilians were not be able to buy and carry guns freely, maybe policement wouldnt feel so threatened and they would choose other non fatal methods as u said. A concealed weapon has the name concealed for a reason. It means it's hidden. If the suspect looks like he's reaching for something that is hidden, when the police officers are clearly yelling "Put your hands up," they should shoot. I don't care if he was reaching for a pen to cut them a check. He was reaching for something that was concealed. At one point it looked like he was walking away then he walked back towards them while reaching for something. I´d really like to know the reason why he grabbed that. Why didnt he obey and let himself killed ? Why was it so important for him ? But we wont find out anymore, unfortunately.
