Orange is parliament (elected about 3 years ago). Blue is most recent polling. The VVD (centre-right) and PvdA (centre-left) are the government. As you can see they're very impopular right now. PVV is the far-right party, currently most popular but losing support because the support for the EU is rising tremendously. SP is socialists. CDA are christian democrats. D66 are liberal democrats. CU conservative christian party. SGP very conservative christian party. PvdD is animal rights' party. GL is greens. 50Plus is elderly rights' party. There's currently 16 parties in parliament.

I think thats too many. Dont u end up getting more than 1 party with simmilar ideals???

Here we have 3 parties each to divide left, centre and right abd thats it

socially they are all pretty progressive with only the conservatives being slitghly more conservative but not a significant difference

Each party attracts a different electorate with different ideals and different ideas  there's also an immigrants' rights party that's growing in popularity. There's a reason why people actually vote for a certain party instead of another one. Only the two orthodox-Christian parties are alike. The Greens and Socialists are somewhat alike, but the Greens receive votes from the high-income, immigrants and high-educated while socialists receive votes from low-income, unemployed, elderly and immigrants.

The green party is on the rise here also. Last election they got a record 5% of votes. Still a long way before it is on par with the other 3 main parties

is so many parties caotic tho? Likr do u have a hard time passing stuff?

Here when we have a majority its awsome and smooth, when we have minority governments its a dysfunctional mess cuz opposition looks for every oppurtunity to screw the one in power 👀

Yeah, it's pretty chaotic sometimes. The next government will probably consist out of 4 or 5 parties. And currently the government needs to find support from other parties to get things through senate, because the government only has 21 out of 75 senate seats.

Ah yes, like his groundbreaking "anti-discrimination" policy where he doesn't support same-sex marriage and would try to repeal it, VERY LGBT+ FRIENDLY

Has he actually put those words into action? His actions show he supports the LGBT community, not his words. Some candidates have no actions to back up their words.
