If elections were to be held today, his party would become the biggest party with nearly 20% of the votes and seats in parliament. Geert Wilders himself has called Donald Trump a man with good ideas, and he had fully supported him since day one, he claims. They both share anti-immigrant and anti-Islam sentiments. Wilders has called for a ban on the Quran, a tax on headscarf-wearers, a ban on Burqas and Niqabs, a ban on salafism, a halt to immigration, 'less Moroccans in the country', a duty to use blackface during certain celebrations and to immediately step out of the EU and focus on relations with the US instead. They do not, however, share their views on homosexuality. There's a lot of stupid people in Europe too. In percentage of total population the Trump voters in the US are bigger than in any European country (besides East-European countries) though. Anyways, in most West-European countries (Germany and South-Europe excluded) far-right parties are very popular, usually 15-30% of support. In countries like Poland, Russia and Hungary far-right parties are already in the government with a majority. In Austria, a far-right presidential candidate got 49% of the votes in elections a few months ago. The elections have to be retaken for some reason, so perhaps Trump could already have some friends. Americans aren't inferior to Europeans, let's just keep it at that. Even in the countries with the best education system (Finland, Sweden) the far-right parties are doing very well in the polls. Trump actually has a non-discrimination policy in all of her companies, which extends to tens of thousands of employees. Not getting my hopes up before Trump actually supports gay rights. That would be a triumph for LGBT rights in the US. The VVD (centre-right) and PvdA (centre-left) are the government. As you can see they're very impopular right now. PVV is the far-right party, currently most popular but losing support because the support for the EU is rising tremendously. SP is socialists. CDA are christian democrats. D66 are liberal democrats. CU conservative christian party. SGP very conservative christian party. PvdD is animal rights' party. GL is greens. 50Plus is elderly rights' party. There's currently 16 parties in parliament.
