Calvin always said he had a damn good reason from banning Rita from releasing the music they made together. Going on Rita's dating history and mounting list of people writing diss songs about her, it was probably because she cheated on him or he found out she was using him. Wouldn't you want to ensure all ties with such a person had been cut?

There's no sexism here, just someone calling out a horrible person for their misdeeds. Can you seriously see no other option than sexism here? That's where you go in a last resort, never the first option. The overwhelming evidence is that Taylor's a snake in the grass. People like that need to be exposed. The fact that she's a woman shouldn't come into it. Feminism isn't about women getting special treatment, but equal treatment. So, if a horrible man can get called out for misdeeds, then a woman should be held to the same standard.

That's a bad excuse. And just the excuse she'd want you to give. Gaga was innocent. She is not.

I've never hated Taylor because it's cool. I knew as soon as I first heard her music all those years ago that this was going to be an artist I was going to hate. And not only is her music mediocre, but her attitude stinks even worse, and she gets more horrible as time goes on. To put it down to nothing more than jumping on a trend is so predictable and amounts to looking at the situation too simplistically.

And with that, you've fallen right into her trap. How does she seem like a sweet kid? She's released diss track after diss track from day one, making herself out to be the victim every time. No full-grown adult is that innocent. And I have heard plenty bad from her over the years. Maybe you haven't been keeping up with celebrity culture or researched her deeply enough, but I sure have. I'm always surprised at how so many people can't seem to recognise a snake in the grass when they see one. I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character and I've had a bad feeling about this girl from day one. Its only intensified with time and it's becoming 100% clarified now.

Yes, some of the hate comes from the fact that she can be so basically talented yet gain success...but it's mainly to do with what a horrible person she is and how she's convinced people otherwise. And I think we're allowed to take time out of our lives to hate celebrities when certain ones are jammed down our throats and made out to be perfect when we know otherwise.

I don't think it's hate at all. It's media backlash combined with public opinion changing against her. On a personal level I find her to be fake. It doesn't help she's been massively overexposed and overrated to the max. In all Taylor is just annoying and becoming increasingly intolerable.

Taylor hate has been growing and growing in recent months and its just hit its peak. Believe me, I've made my hate against her well known since she released 1989. There's been constant topics about how overrated she and the album is and yes, hate of her coming up in topics not even related to her. It's the same for Katy Perry. There's just a collection of artists that GGD loves to hate. It happens on all forums. It sucks when it's your fave but it's just life.

I admit that I did misread the original story. I now realise the whole ghostwriting thing was confirmed by Calvin as well and so on and so forth. It's just that tweets are so easy to misread. But it still doesn't change much. It's very fitting that she'd want to make her involvement public just as she's getting a lot of attention right now and to give her some relevance in the gap between albums. Anything for publicity with her.

I admit that I did misread the original story. I now realise the whole ghostwriting thing was confirmed by Calvin as well and so on and so forth. It's just that tweets are so easy to misread. But it still doesn't change much. Like I said she's probably evil lol. But I relate to her music on such a spiritual level I don't know how I'd hate her  she's brainwashed me

I honestly couldn't tell you  i've just liked her for so long that it doesn't phase me like it would with anyone else. It almost makes her more exciting  I know it's awful but I can't stop lol

She's fake and has a celebrity "squad" and Calvin even confirmed she goes after people. Calvin just did something no else did. And taylor is just getting exposed

umm it's not about the fact she wrote the song. It's about the fact she had a plan to get credit for the song and make calvin look bad. And while i guess that's not fully a "fact" look at what she's been doing for the past few years.

I'm not crazy about Taylor Swift, but I don't hate her. Hell, I barely know who she is, just get tired of her annoying stories... However, given how the world is lately, perhaps we don't need a thread to justify the hate of anyone... So I'm closing this thread for everyone's good.
