Spock 20,290
I was born in 1994 and my first memories of being aware of pop culture happenings was with Britney and Baby One More Time. I grew up being a fan of hers, N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, Christina, Shakira, Thalia, Spice Girls, S Club 7, Missy Eliott and all that. Madonna, Kylie and Mariah, while being older than other popstars, were still young enough to play on the radio and on TV and not get completely shut out as they are today (which I think is a shame for today's young generation) so I got to listen and enjoy them a lot. I saw the I'm a Slave 4 U MTV performance and the Madonna kiss live, saw Glitter and Crossroads in theaters and watched TRL every week. On the movie front, Harry Potter (ENOUGH SAID) plus the books, experienced Pixar since the beginning, the Disney Renaissance, Lord of the Rings, the Star Wars prequels, etc etc. Also Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed and Angel I'm pretty happy I was alive and conscious to experience that much iconicness tbh, and I kind of feel for today's teenagers because I know they don't have it as good as we did. Still I would have loved to have experience Madonna, Whitney, Mariah and all those iconic soaps in the 80s and 90s. What about you? who will love me when the night is over

KURUSHITOVSKA 20,451
I was born in 1994 like Bedtime Stories and my first pop memory was Believe by Cher. Then it was Music (song), Hung Up, i became a fan of Miley Cyrus round 2007 and then Gaga came, so i've always been good at selecting my taste. Now I hate that our kids think that Work, Panda and 7/11 are the good music. I'd have loved to be DJ in the 80s. I love vinyls, now they just play playlists from Spotify. ¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

Dorothy Gale 7,575
I was born in 1997, and I remember Britney's breakdown, Beyoncé's solo career and Gaga's meteoric rise to fame. Everything got pretty stale after 2012 imo.

Sudarshana 581
The 90's pop music didn't really impress me. I was born in 1990, but only started to listen to pop artists in 2010: first Gaga, then Lana (quite indifferent to others tbh ) and I'm glad to have been able to witness those two, although I would prefer to be born ≈5 years later so that I could live through Gaga's glorious eras in high school, it would have made it much easier I believe Nous sommes tous obligés, pour rendre la réalité supportable, d'entretenir en nous quelques petites folies. — Marcel Proust
RAMROD 109,709
What's not to like? 1984 is iconic Many of them still a thing to revisit even by younger generations, such as this or this or this or this And John Galliano first ever fashion show And cultish Ghost Buster movie And this And this Not to mention, people who were born around these timea will experience the maximum effect of the 1990s glories.
