Lately Gaga has been at peace with herself with a lending hand at yoga. She has said, “Yoga makes me feel like I can do anything.” Her two favorite styles are Bikram and hot yoga. Although she travels often, she has made it a habit to practice yoga at local studios wherever her travels take her. Bikram Choudhury took a long-existing practice and modified it to create a uniquely-packaged fitness franchise. According to the 66-year-old Indian-born yoga guru, the precise sequence of 26 postures and two breathing exercises must be performed within 90 minutes in a heated (100-degrees-plus) room to allow the body to stretch, detoxify, relieve stress, tone, and heal chronic pain such as arthritis, joint aches, knee injuries, back problems, and more.

Is this practice of “hot yoga" 100% safe? No. Do it at your own risk.

According to TIME, to protect yourself, both Tracy (an exercise scientist at Colorado State University) and Williams (president-elect of the American College of Cardiology) say hot yoga practicers need to pay close attention to their bodies. Feelings of light-headedness, nausea, confusion, or muscle cramping—either during or after a yoga practice—are all signs that you need to take a break. That’s especially true for inexperienced yogis, whose bodies aren’t acclimated to the rigors of hot yoga, Tracy explains.

Williams also stresses the importance of hydration and nutrient replacement. “You can’t sweat out a bunch of minerals and then replace them with water alone,” he says. Dangerously low levels of potassium, sodium, and other electrolytes contribute to those scary health risks mentioned above.

Take into consideration the intense heat and how you have to plan snack time. Try not to eat 2 hours before you take your class, etc.  Gaga does love exercise on her abdomen, check out her favorite ab exercises:

Gaga had been trying her leather-gloved hand at  SUP – Stand-Up Paddleboard Yoga whilst preparing for the 2015 Oscars. The surfboards Gaga used belonged to “Boga Yoga" as you can see in her Instagram a year back.

Thanks! That's the whole purpose of this whole “Learning with Gaga" segment, to learn (obviously) and to motivate people to be better and more informed. Tomorrow I'll post recipes that Gaga has shown in her Instagram and dishes that Gaga approved according to her trainer. :unicorn:

You can request for posts you want to see, however I have a plan already.

1. Week One: Health and Lifestyle (learn about Gaga's fitness and eating habits and learn about her way of living, such as the cars and home decor she uses, and beauty, of course)

2. Week Two: The Icon and the Icon-Maker (learn more about Gaga's influences and learn about the designers that helped on Gaga's most iconic moments.)

3. Week Three: No Mistakes (learn about Gaga's problems such as fianancing, how to take care of horses, and spirituality)

4. Week Four: Beauty Behind the Magic (learn about what goes behind the scenes in some of Gaga's photoshoots and tours).

5. Week Five: La Cultura (learn about Gaga's cultural references in her music videos plus Italy and New York).

those are the ones I have planned already.
