PS. Not here for a Gaga vs.Katy 2.0.. I hope our girl releases during the fall, maybe premiering the lead on AMAs.. I just care about music but the fanbases in 2013 were both unpleasant

It is expected Gaga is releasing next month and she will because I don't think she's afraid of Katy Perry. Only fans are.

If she delays again it would prove how much she is not confident about her music.

If Gaga wanted to avoid big competition, she would have released her album in Spring (late Q2). In Q3 and Q4 a lot of big releases are planned (even in fall)

This is so ridiculous and of course she had to release when Gaga is supposed to do, this bitch can't just retire and let talent win.

I think Gaga could smash, all depends on what she did. To me she could have beaten Katy in 2013 with better music. To me Applause wasn't good enough to slay everything.

She is SO lucky if this is true, because the GP hates Taylor now.

I hope it's true because she'll face the hate of Tay's stans, Army (if she'll drop the single close to Make me (ooh) and block britney) and little monsters.
Taylor fans should buy Gaga's single and join us :hor:

I wish Katy's single is produced by the rapist and the GP knows.

As long as Katy has radio on her side (payola), Gaga could never beat her. It's sad but it's true.

Gaga could pay too.. we don't know what is her new management for a pop era..

And honestly I don't care if Gaga doesn't hit #1, Bad Romance failed to because of Tik Tok, at the end BR is one of the biggest song of the decade.

As long has Gaga achieves to get a top 3 and stay there for weeks, and let a new iconic hit in pop music, nobody will care if it is a #1 or not...

If a Katy vs. Gaga happens and Katheryn wins then she totally deserves to be praised for it - Gaga has no excuse whatsoever to fail after working on that album for years now, with acclaimed producers and a fantastic manager. Especially not the GP friendly excuse.

it wasn't laaaahv

I agree with this, Gaga has everything to be very successful next era : amazing producers (most of them are hitmakers), great new team (which already proved itself amazing with a jazz album), she has now a great image again (just look at February very positive opinion from the GP and the media and 2015 year in a whole). She's also working very hard on it, she has taken her time and she makes it mysterious.

To me no reason to fear a failure this time.

For the first part I hope you're right. I'm saying it again: it's sad to pay, but everyone does that and Gaga needs to do that too.

The other part, I don't think  - at this point - a Gaga's single that doesn't hit #1 will be à la Bad Romance, but more like Applause. And if she doesn't hit the #1 while Katy does, me and you know damn well how the media would react to that.

I don't think media, radio and GP are hostile to her right now, but I think her lead single MUST BE EXCELLENT to smash, as opposite to Katy who can smash even with a mediocre song (like she did with roar ihihihih).
