Trump Regrets Deleting Anti-Semitic Tweet; Compares Symbol To Disney Star

Trump repeatedly shouted, of the Star of David, “it’s a star!” He echoed his own campaign surrogates by saying it looked like a sheriff’s star and said it’s the “dishonest” media that’s doing the profiling here. He went on and on about how “Clinton News Network” devoted a lot of coverage to the tweet and how it was on a Neo-Nazi message board before ( literally the same image it was directly lifted ) . But Trump not only repeatedly called CNN and the media “sick,” but he said they “shouldn’t have taken it down.”

The image used to make the Disney comparison appears to have begun circulating on a Reddit thread devoted to the Republican candidate before making the rounds on social media and other sites sarcastically questioning why the company wasn’t facing the same backlash as Trump.

“We shouldn’t have taken it down. We should’ve left it up. I would have rather defended it,” Trump said at a Thursday night rally in Cincinnati, Ohio. “It’s a star! And it actually looks like a sheriff’s star! It could’ve been a star for anything.”

It's hilarious how's he deflecting from the fact that the symbol is inherently innocent but it's the context that makes something potentially insulting. The image he used was literally lifted from white supremacist boards and was for all intents and purposes designed in order to perpetuate the same anti-Jewish symbolism. Not to mention the piles of money behind it.

Some people here are only irrationally increasing their hatred of Hillary the more vindicated she is because they'e losing any reason to rationally dislike her.

Well, this is good for him. Now he can act like he was censored and his wish of not having it deleted makes him look like some kind of freedom of speech hero speaking for the logical minded folks.

A nice way to take the spotlight off of the fact that the image came from a source embodying all the accusations, a spotlight that would've been hard to get off of thàt awkward situation if he had just left it on there.

Hillary was two days ago called extremely careless by the FBI. I would hardly say she's been vindicated on anything. In fact that report made her look worse when it showed all the false statements she has made.

Oh boo hoo she made a mistake for once burn her at the stake. Considering the one who expressed "extremely careless" is an avid Republican and a former Whitewater prosecutor, one would assume that it's expected for him to exaggerate the truth.

But of course you're far more inclined to believe the worst rather than hope for the best.

This is literally the first and only time a report was not in favor of her but vindicated her all the same.

Despite being cleared from Benghazi and given a brief chastising from the FBI, you've gone from not liking her much to being outright hostile.

Go check yourself. You have your priorities out of whack. A few mistakes don't erase a lifetime of success.

I hoped for the best. But the further the campaign has progressed, the more she has let me down. Her blind spots and lack of self awareness are truly troubling.

It was that report the other day. She told too many lies about the emails and still refuses to accept it.
