VenusBlackStar 1,301
Wait okay so the woman who called Zayn Malik a sand n****r and goes off on the militant extreme defense on the regular about being black, antagonizing every single person in front of her, ally or not, BLEACHES HER SKIN. Okay Azalea. That's rather inconsistent and hypocritical but okay.
Iwontell 7,312
Of all people, I never thought I'd see so many gays acting shocked over the bleaching of an assh0le! (jk, you guys) ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.
LUCARTPOP 5,924
So she is known as the artist who calls out white people for cultural appropriation and now she herself is bleaching her skin?

aaronyoji 2,054
i cant at some of you trying to throw around the "cultural appropriation of white people" non sense lol. cuz the thing is, white people dont bleach their skin or have the social need to, in fact they tan, and bronze, as a seasonal costume to feel exotic and/or tropical. azealia's comparison to getting a nose job or wearing weaves is relevant because, a lot of the reasons people get nose jobs is because their features don't fit the euro-centric mold of beauty. look at what kim k, and beyonce have done with the contouring of their noses, or how many poc celebs will wear fake hair. that is 'whitifying' yourself, but some how its more socially acceptable. All of those things are controversial, even tanning. Must we bring up tan mom? AB doing this is beyond hypocritical, is the issue.
BossBiatch 20
I think that she has all the rights to make body modifications because its her own body. I will stand against anyone who believes the other way around. Just like any person can choose to get tan, a black person can choose to bleach his or her skin. Theres nothing wrong with that. Or it's not contradicting the standpoint of a person's anti-racist acts speeches or thoughts.

You are right because mainstream perception of beauty is a white womens' physical features. And it highly affects people. But just because tattoos are "cool" in pop/rock/rap subcultures or any subculture that you are being in touch with, is it acceptable that you can get a tattoo?
