This list is obviously ridiculous. Sorry, no way you can take this seriously. Demi Lovato? Ellie Goulding? Ariana Grande? The list says "iconic". Not successful, not famous, but iconic. What have they done to be called that? And Adele not top 3, after having two of the best selling albums of the 2010's, broke pretty much every record there was, and changed the music industry?

well basically the list goes by the opinions of one of the staffs from Mojo. the person might just use the latest news of the past few months to gauge that, which makes sense seeing the order of the list; Rihanna is the only one mostly talked about now even though she has the lowest cultural impact in the 2010s other than having singles out almost yearly, Taylor was the biggest in 2014-1st half 2015, Katy just ended the long tour and has a christmas album, Gaga was only because of the live performances and nothing much she has done; no tour, new songs(dun count TIHTY). And the same goes for the rest in the list.

Moreover, the person might be just neutral and doesn't do a thorough research of the past 6years of which artist has a bigger impact around the world. take for example, the top 3 Ri,Tay, and Katy have big impacts only in the States, Australia and some part of europe, while Gaga is very well known in the least expected parts of the world like japan, phillipines and china. i know of the ban to Gaga in china, but in reality shows there, many tried to emulate her to give a good performance. "china gaga" is a thing in china. you do not see a china rihanna, katy, or taylor.

if mojo did that same top 10 last year right after the oscar/AHS, she might easily be in the top.
