Being proud of what you are is kind of useless I mean, if you really find pride in what color you are, what organs you have, and what sex you're attracted to that's your prerogative but it's not the same thing as LGBT pride in the slightest. If they understood that (even some gay people don't) it'd be a different story, but they literally think we're proud of liking the same sex (or both, or all, or none, or identifying as another gender, etc etc). At first glance I felt like the OP was going along the lines of "If you're straight You should be ashamed of liking yourself." I'm Bi, and personally I still get confused between "Pride" & "Self love" because to me they're one and the same.
