TRUMP: Republicans Who Broke Support Pledge Should Be Banned From Office

Former presidential candidates who reneged on the Republican National Committee’s pledge last September to support the GOP nominee regardless of the individual candidate should “never be allowed to run for public office again,” Donald Trump said Wednesday.

“It’s amazing what can happen when you lose,” Trump told supporters in Bangor, Maine. “It’s amazing.”

Recalling that others had insisted that he sign the pledge for fear of Trump deciding to pursue an independent run, the now-presumptive nominee acknowledged that it was a “rough campaign” and “I wasn’t nice, but they weren’t nice either.”

Even so, Trump insisted that he would have stuck by the pledge, despite having on multiple occasions publicly flirted with the notion of pursuing a third-party bid throughout the primary season.

What a ****ing fascist...

Between this and his rant about judges, I don't see how anyone can scrounge up a reason to vote for him.

He's just spouting off for the crowd. It wouldn't go anywhere. Also, recall Hillary did tell Trump to delete his account, which isn't very supportive of free speech and fair elections either...

I care not of what Hillary does, this is solely focused on Trump. Running a campaign is not theater, you don't get to say something once and then say "oh I didn't really mean that, I was spouting to the crowd"

It's bullshit.

She told him to delete his account to help him stop expressing idiotic sentiments not to suppress him.

Your analogy fails because she isn't calling for his Twitter to be deleted, but for him to do it himself.

Well, with the Donald Trump Show, it kind of is  it's one reason he's been so successful.

The media is going after Trump for this little hyperbole, but, like he said in that speech, the press is ignoring the fact these guys broke their RNC pledge:

"And now they sit back and the pledge is out there and the press doesn't even go after him on that."

These guys broke their pledge, but the press is making it all about the "big bad Trump".

Psh.

Well you just hammered out my argument. They're going after him because he's saying anyone that doesn't support him, should be barred from office. Politicians break allegiances all the time, and after his racist comments, I don't see why anyone, even a republican, would support him for his absolutely racist comments. He's a bully that needs to go unsupported.

If they don't blindly agree with everything I do to the point that they endorse me for leader of our nation, they should never be allowed to hold office again. Praise to the Motherland, comrade. Sieg Heil.

Racist/sexist/xenophobic/extremely nationalist comments aside, I think his brazen stupidity, delicate sensibilities, and confident dishonesty are enough to question why anyone thinks he'd be a decent leader :laughga:

If they want a "non-establishment" politician, they should vote for a third party candidate. Not this buffoon.
