Thhe entire idea is ridiculous, but a tetris as a movie concept allows for so many executions.

Movies based off games aren't usually good anyways, the fact that it is based off of Tetris confirms that, how could you make a movie based off of Tetris without it being incredibly stupid, who knows though this guy seems to have high hopes for it

I don't understand, will the different shapes be characters? And they fit with each other over the course of 90 minutes?  And the story is big because they want to show lots of levels / speeds?

Imagine each movie for a difficulty: "Tetris: Easy", "Tetris 2: Medium", "Tetris 3: Hard"

Tetris the movie would probably be the only game to movie I'd ever watch, honestly. Because there isn't a premade story to be working off of, and to be f*ucked with.

Tbh I feel a game based on Temple Run the app store game could be a surprising success, just cause you can clearly envision the elements of the game as an epic action/adventure movie. The app was downloaded a billion times so many people are familiar with it.
