There was a blacklist on some of her music in 2011, but it was listed in 2014. She will now be banned from China for life.

I guess she must have thought it was. Gaga and her team must have known exactly what was at risk by meeting with him. As far as international artists go, she was big in China. AHS was very popular, although her involvement in that probably means that will no longer be aired in China, or she'll be edited out. Hopefully they figured out all the repercussions this would have.

It is hard for us to understand what this must be like for the Chinese since he is not a threat in any form to us, but people are taught from birth that he is an evil man who's main purpose is to ruin China. From that point, it's understandable why they're so mad and disgusted with her. It must seem to them like she hates their country.
