Interscope wanted DITD to be the third single but Gaga fought for Alejandro to be released instead and she won.

I don't think this is true, considering that So Happy i Could Die was, despite being a fan fav, was considered radio unfriendly.

Plus not to mention there was dispute over what should've been the third single of the Fame Monster. I'm pretty sure it was between Monster, Alejandro, and Dance in the Dark. Then sh!t happened.

Dance in the dark would have gone way farther the label was right for once.
