POP Princess Britney Spears’ comeback single has been delayed due to issues with her vocals.

An insider at her record label has exclusively revealed to The Sun Online it’s her voice causing the setbacks.

The news comes after it was previously reported that the track had been pushed back from its scheduled release in May due to “technical difficulties with production.”

Our source tells us: “The single has been a nightmare for everybody involved. When it came down to the final version of the track, the label just didn’t like her voice and the producers were struggling to make it work with the recordings they had.”

A record label insider tells us the song has been stressful for all involved due to the setbacks.

To ensure the track still makes it out this summer, emergency meetings have been held to find a way to make the track work.

“They’ve tried to find someone to add some guest vocals to strengthen the track instead of finding time in Britney’s schedule to re-record – but they’ve really struggled. It’s been very stressful, the track should have been out a long time ago now.”

There was speculation that G-Eazy had added some guest vocals after Britney posted a picture with the rapper on June 3.

Talking of her new music, Joe Riccitelli of RCA Records admitted in May: “She’s found a really great groove, and she’s working with some new, young producers. We have an A&R person working on the project that’s just really been able to thread the needle, and I’m really excited about it…we’re waiting for her to finish the album”

The Surrealist

She is "Gaga-ing". I guess we can put that word into a dictionary with the definition "Gagaing is the process of letting your fans wait until they're are physically and mentally exhausted and maybe want to kill you because you don't say a fricking word for at least 2 years"

Born To Slay

Why does it say G-easy is "speculated" when it's been 100% confirmed he's in the track

Poor Brit :S

I feel like her signature sound is a bad technique that's ruined her singing voice over the years.

I can't believe they couldn't do something with her vocals though... She's usually auto-tuned to hell and back any way so how could that be that un-useable?

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
