How so? Because a human suffered? Its not like most anti dog meat people care about this only because a human being was robbed. They are treated horribly by the industry, they create tons of pollution and waste insane amounts of grain too! Plus cows and pigs and goats are very emotional, socially complex creatures! I think it's great to eat deer meat and rabbit where I live because the deer and rabbits are crazy overpopulated. If you want to eat meat, go hunt wild deer, rabbit, pheasant or turkey. Factory livestock industry is awful. I REALLY can't @ people eating dogs, we bred them to love us! This festival of dog meat is disgusting and wrong. The only part I hate is how they kidnapped the dogs from owners and sell them but other than that, nothing we can really do! Mind our own business would be a suggestion. ItsTommyBitch 12,640 Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Speaking as a non vegan, Im no more outraged by this than any other kind of practices that go in the West I'm against all kinds of cruel forms of animal torture in the name of food production though, and as mentioned earlier in the thread there are alternatives to eating meat that is obtained in inhumane ways that are not just "be a vegan!" if people really are interested. We literally do the exact same thing to millions of animals, yet people here are less offended by that because our culture is accustomed to view those animals as food sources.
