mucinex 4,260 Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 ok and the cows & pigs & chickens are alive when we slaughter them to put them on our plates? it's still kinda messed up that they're being burned alive but i'd be a hypocrite if i acted like i haven't seen worse & pretended this is the worst thing ever. i have no emotional connection to those animals so it's hard for me to be really upset about it. I understand different cultures may eat different animals but why so much cruelty? And you might wanna look up the very food we eat and how the animals are treated and killed. It's disgusting. Yet most of us support this by eating animal products. I think being vegan is the most ethical thing tbh but it's hard. I love the taste of chicken. It's conflicting because you know that out of this suffering you get food on your table. Then again nature itself is cruel. I mean, organisms kill each other to survive. Sucks. Cows, chickens, pigs, and other animals go through far worse things on factory farms. So if you're not vegan you shouldn't be upset at people eating cats or dogs.
