What's the daily average of traffic thru here? 500 and some change?

So that.

I would think most of her fans don't buy her albums- and it's not just a Gaga thing it's with every major artist

there's illegal downloading, there's streaming and there's a lot of people around the globe who just plain can't afford it

The point is, you can't really look at the sales of an album that was sold for 1 dollar and look at the sales of an album that was sold for 10 dollars and be like "oh, the first sold more because she had more fans". I myself only bought ARTPOP one month later when the price dropped. Not every fan will buy the album and not everyone that buys an album is a fan. Charts doesn't have a lot of value for this issue, you know.

I understand what you are saying, but I think that charts and sales are probably the most accurate way of measuring a fanbase, with social media most people follow a bunch of celebrities even if they aren't fans but with an album you have to buy it and it shows devotion to an artist. It isn't perfect but it's the closest thing.

I suppose it all depends on what you call a fan!

There's probably like 3000 hardcore fans worldwide (remember a lot of people don't speak English and wouldn't use this site. Apparently only about 25% of the world has some understanding of English!)

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Most fans (or people in general) download records illegally, I don't think you can look at how many units her last album sold in its first week to find out how many fans she has. :laughga:

Gaga has been around for almost a decade now, I'm sure she has well over one million fans. Especially if you look at her Facebook page, which has 60+ million likes.

Well, nowadays, I admit, social media means less than nothing when you can buy followers and stuff. If it was 2009 I could really tell you that Gaga had millions and millions of people that are at least casual listeners. Radio, the same thing, they don't play your song if you don't pay for it first. Charts aren't a good parameter too for the reasons I've said. I could say the most accurate way to measure an artist popularity would be tickets sales. It is still not perfect cause, for example, here in Brazil tickets are super super super expensive but I guess people do not go to concerts of people they don't like, right? Just see how many tickets someone sold and you can tell how popular they are.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Lord Temptation

Gaga has over

- 20 million album sales

- 100 million single sales

- 45 million Twitter followers

- 60 million Facebook likes

- 2 billion YouTube views

But more importantly she has that which cannot be measured: respect.

Respect from her peers in the music business, respect from the art community (Marina, Jeff), respect from music legends, respect from the contientious LGBT community, respect from American patriots ever since her national anthem performance at to super bowl, respect from Hollywood, respect from fashion lovers, respect from jazz lovers, respect from heavy metal lovers and of course respect from pop and dance lovers.

There is a little monster inside all of us screaming to come out.

I think that she has 3-5 million fans ww, but probably only 500,000 would call themselves little monsters tbh

I'm sorry I just had to :derpga:

Economy

Theres no answer to that because fandom has a certain range

some fans are more hardcore others are more casual fans...

where in the spectrum do you consider someone a little monster?

If they are obssessed? If they stan? If they at least know all her album songs?

The number of little monsters changes depending where you draw the line of what u consider a little monster

I don't really think album sales are a good representation of that :poot:

My sisters, grandma, dad, and a few other members of my family love her music and watched her performances on TV. They also like some of the work she does (not so much the gay things but the mental health and abuse survivors for sure). None of them have ever bought one of her albums even though they consider themselves fans. I had to gift a copy of ARTPOP to my sister

I'd say it's at least in the millions. She has ~25 "real" Twitter followers (active accounts), she's one of the biggest on Instagram I think (I don't use it so idk), and more Facebook likes than Obama and Bieber :poot:

And that's just social media :air:

i get what you're saying, it's just that i thought  that being a little monster or a fan meant  more than just liking music or the artist... i mean.. i like beyonce's music but tbh i have never bought her music nor i really care about her, but i guess i'm just being a little too much and obsessive :air:

Why was this so hard to read? :awkney: I took a mental pause between each word :poot:

Like @Economy said, it really depends on your definition of what a Monster is :poot: by your definition, there's probably not that many (and they all probably have an account here :awkney:). By mine, someone that listens to her at least casually, and likes all or most of her work whether it be music, acting, charity, etc, I'd consider that a fan and a Monster if they decided they wanted the cute little nickname :rip:

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

If we're considering anyone who STANS Gaga as a Little Monster, 50,000-200,000.

If we just mean Lady Gaga fans in general who would at the very least stream her albums on Spotify, 800,000+

Hands up to the sky 🌧 I’ll be your galaxy 🌌
