Any gigs you wish you’d attended?

“My son played me Pink Floyd performing Comfortably Numb at some giant arena with a light show and I don’t think it gets much better than that. There’s this girl Lissie, she does a cover of Gaga’s Bad Romance. Gaga is amazing too but this is stripped down man, it’s raw — Lady Gaga is much more about production but still cool.”

Lynch is probably my favorite director and his movies are top-notch. Saying something positive about Gaga is really great. Lana Del Rey also wanted to do music with Lynch.

I wished that Gaga would collab with him either in music or movies/soundtracks.

Lissie's original music is pretty great too.

Can we get her in a David Lynch movie instead of a Bradley Cooper movie, please?

She would fit in perfectly into the Twin Peaks universe which is going to be rebooted next year. Sadly, she is not in it. Her Idol was, though:

lynch is totally cray cray and i love it. i remember binge-watching twin peaks when i was at the beginning of my tv series addiction and it blew my mind. it was a combination of frustration, confusion, and amazement. :flutter:

one of the local art cinemas in my town plays blue velvet this month. i'm really excited to experience it on the big screen.

imagine an announcement like this: GAGA X LYNCH

if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back

I wish he would know about Gaga's raw performances, he seems to know only about her famous songs and all.

I've always thought the music video for Yoü and I had a little bit of Lynch in it, I don't know why.

The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!

honestly, he sounds like all the other "legends" thinking Lady Gaga is just a product/only about producing achivments without deeper meaning behind it.  :laughga: & tbh (not being bitter, just my opinion) I can't really get into any of his movies, don't know why but I feel like they don't even try to connect, they are just there and because critics like it, it is approved as being a classic/legendary. Well... :laughga:

After some of the wackiness in Hotel, I could totally see her in something a little more odd, like Mulholland Drive-ish.

3 points in and ready for more

I imagined the same thing. I can't. :diane:

Also, I got retweeted once by Kyle MacLachlan who plays the main character in Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet. A good day it was.

His movies are brilliant, because he can disconnect you from a character but brings you into a mood and atmosphere you only dream of. He is magic. I'm sure he would think different of Gaga if he heard her raw acoustics, but he is 70 years old, so he doesn't need to. A legend.
