My guess is that they will put up barriers on all their beaches and put up big warning signs and hand out warnings with every check in to their resorts. PopBitch 1,218 Posted June 15, 2016 Share Posted June 15, 2016 I hate alligators. Florida has too many. They've snatched dogs in peoples' backyards down by the shore. They run fast on ground. There is a video by someone in Florida videoing an alligator walking in the front yard of the neighbor across the street and the alligator jumped up tall like he was trying to open the door, scratching at it. There is an area in Wekiva Springs where people party and kayak, but you're not supposed to be in the water past a certain point. A drunk woman swam farther down even when told not to, and an alligator attacked her and bit off her arm. Kayakers had to save her and bring her to shore. They also need to start enforcing their "don't feed the wildlife" rules too. And by enforce, I mean start kicking people out of the parks and resorts for doing it. That's the only way to keep animals away from human areas. You just know this is likely one reason why such a giant, solitary, reptile like an alligator was in such close proximity to Guests.
