I agree that people change etc but the fact that she didn't speak in favor for gay marriage until 2013 just shows me how it's all fake and only for political gain. It just shows how her opinion changes with what's popular tbh

Isn't that good in the end? She is embracing what's popular, viewpoints of the popular majority. She's siding with what is a popular stance amongst her people.

I definitely feel like it's a good thing in the end. But I feel as though leaders should be able to stand up for what's right not just what's popular. I mean if the majority of Americans weren't in favor of LGBT rights today neither would she. And that's not right.

Clinton didn't like DOMA and DADT.  The only problem being, was that his opinions and views were too ahead of his time (Born this way teas).. But, back in the early 90s, being for equal rights was an unpopular opinion (even for democrats).  Clinton DID wanted full-equal rights for marriage and the military, but he didn't want a major backlash from congress.  But, it would've been almost political suicide at the time.

UsIng her exhusband to attack her is just nonsensical at this point. Yes, she married him but he also cheated on her. It's pretty obvious they didn't share everything.

She is not an ally but we don't need the president to be an ally, that's a positive hung but it's not mandatory. The president doesn't need to be an ally of every minority out there, he/she needs to be competent enough to treat everyone fairly despite his/her own beliefs.
