I actually work on the front line. Yes, there are some sh!t days, but no different than any other customer service job. Anyways, this isn't about my job at Disney, its about their wonderful act of kindness; so let's not take it too far off topic

While I was watching the Anderson Cooper tribute yesterday posted here through blurry tears in my eyes, I remember one of the victims works for Disney Orlando.  They themselves were impacted. Imagine how devastating it would be to go work in the happiest place on earth finding out one of your co-workers were one of the persons who died. 

Disney is awesome for contributing $1M!

Bless this company. 

They ALWAYS have a great presence at Orlando Pride. They gave benefits to couples before the rest of the state and country and continue to be wonderful allies.

I am proud to be a giant Disney nerd. I spend hundreds of dollars a year having an annual Disney world pass and wouldn't change that for the world.

Slightly off topic, but I didn't feel it warranted its own thread. Last night, there was vigil in front of Cinderella Castle to honor the victims of the Pulse attack. This wasn't officially organized by Disney but they gave out free rainbow hearts and pins, silenced the music for a moment of silence, and lit the castle hub in the colors of the rainbow flag.
