This is GameFreak we're talking about. We wont have any DLC's but bug fixes throughout the future SM patches

So that's why I'm not getting my hopes up. Not after the Battle Frontier DLC cuck back in ORAS

Honestly, I just hope that there is an SM sequel or reboot, because XY and Gen VI, in general, had so many unanswered questions. Like who the hell is that ghost girl and who the hell is "the one", why only be able to enter one of the buildings at the Power Plant, what happened to Lysandre, why did we not receive Eternal Flower Floette, the lack of and construction of the Battle Frontier of all things that you should take away from Gen 3?

Like, is Pokémon Stars supposed to answer all of that? Is Stars more than just a sequel or reboot? Like Game Freak is Game Freak and I would never expect or hold them to release a game that combines all of the regions. If they did, they would be paying huge fan service, but, then again, what can you expect from the same company that never released the Azure Flute, shiny locks its legendaries that serve no purpose to the main story whatsoever, retcons the entire Pokémon series once with ORAS and twice with SM. I'm just getting riled for no reason now

I'm honestly just waiting for someone to make a gif of Game Freak like the one of Gaga and her unfulfilled comments and asides

I feel like there was supposed to be an XY sequel but not entitled as Z (cause they said something about that) and it pains to think that Zygarde was thrown off to SM as sort of just an extra.

I swear, GameFreak is such an incompetent gaming company and I strongly believe that they got away successfully with the concept of Pokemon. I remember that Machoke carrying a box during Contest Spectaculars back in ORAS was just there because there are no other over-world pokemon sprite they could use so they recycled the Machoke sprites that moved your stuff in your house   They even made the box a backstory, y'know, that "she was born in the box" crap as a poor excuse for incompetence.

 

But hey, hats off to them for the gift of SM. It's personally the best pokemon game I ever played and it's only the first games of the generation. Who knows what it's offspring(s) will bring to the table.

Speaking of which, I think "stars" is just a codename to the next games as "rainbows" is just a codename to Sun & Moon. The best name I could think of is Pokemon Prism. Maybe thats why they were so overly firm when they took down the fan game of the same title. The concept even has a somewhat a connection to Sun & Moon's codename (when light hits the prism, it splits into 7 different colors.[rainbow]). Heck, even the third legendary Necrozma is known as the Prism Pokemon.

If not, well, it's gonna be Sun 2 / Moon 2  I guess

Honestly, I would've been here for either a Pokémon Z or Pokémon XZ + YZ / X2 + Y2; I just feel naming it Z would've made the most sense since Zygarde, Z comes after X + Y, and Z is the third dimensional plane which would make sense for the 3DS

But yeah, they really shorted Zygarde by making him so irrelevant in XY and giving him such an irrelevant role in SM. Zygarde Complete and 10% Formes are so epic, but it's such a grueling side quest and makes you wonder whether its an Alolan Pokémon or Kalosian. Same with Volcanion and Magearna, but XY and SM were probably made side by side so I can see how certain aspects flood into each other so much

I'm so here for Stars/Eclipse/Prism or whatever it's called. I wonder if Necrozma will have a different form in a same genetation sequel/reboot or reboot of DP (which I hope if they do, they take more from Platinum than DP because DP was a mess at times). I wonder if Necrozma is going to be Dragon/Psychic or Dark/Psychic. If it remains single type or if it doesn't get an alternate form, I'll be pressed

Have you noticed that Necrozma looks like a head of a decapitated dragon and it just grew arms from it's eyes plus it's legs aren't actually legs but it's mustache ?

I traded it for a Cosmoem because I didn't wanna level up Cosmog

I finished the game with my team of: Decidueye, Garchomp, Arcanine, Milotic, Toxapex, and Snorlax.

Does this mean we can get pokemon from other generations easier now?
