These numbers focus on the 6 major candidates during this primary. Republicans: Trump: 13,407,041 Cruz: 7,722,889 Rubio: 3,513,387 Kasich: 4,194,016 Total: 28,837,333 Results by popular vote in counties: Blue - Trump, Yellow - Cruz, Red- Rubio, Green - Kasich Democrats: Clinton: 15,889,660 Sanders: 12,183,133 Total: 28,072,793 Results by popular vote by county: Yellow - Clinton, Green - Sanders - The graphs aren't complete, will post the updated ones soon (hopefully). The college students will start paying taxes and will realize they don't want to pay even more for all those freebies for everyone. The majority will have long term bills to pay, own homes and have families and their priorities will change. They won't have time to go to rallys, hang out on social media all day talking about their big ideas, and they will skip caucuses for life commitments. There will be about ten per cent that still believe in these ideas that young people grab onto. They are the Ralph Nadar bunch that supported Bernie this time. There will be another Bernie and another generation that believes that these policies can magically happen without a huge increase in taxes.
