More Relevant: Avril Lavigne or Britney Spears

lipsynchs is a touchy subject and her is that, when you damage a part of the body it never heals right and fully cause then it is easily damaged again. These singers are putting a great strain on there voices during concerts in multi city's with all the songs to sing, then you use the same to do everyday life , talking that is. There is also the recording studio when you have to sing the song multi times. so you put all that together and yea everyone is against  lipsynchs but its better that a singer out for 8 months to a year and never near the same high notes as before.

 

Avril is a strange one in that some of her albums didn't do good but she has the fan base so the albums should have done better. the first post listed off large numbers for her. What percent of her fans got some of her records then. with all those followers and such her record sales should have been better if they were bad.

I love Avril but Britney Spears is an ICONIC figure in Pop culture.

What do you mean by saying Avril gets more attention in Music than Britney. Baby One Moee Time is a No 1 hit in every country it Chartered. Oops is No 1 in more than 15 countries and Toxic is so iconic that so many airline commercials used the song and copied her videos to market their brand. Which Avril songs are as big as this three chartwise and which Avril songs are as iconic as this. Britney Spears had 6 European Hot 100 hits, while Avril only had one. In terms of Album sales. Britmey doesnt only beat her in the US. Her total sales worldwide bar the US, is already more than 50 million copies. That is already more than Avril total US + worldwide sales. So obviously you dont have a clue with what u r talking about. Avril is never more relevant than Britney. The only place where she is bigger and more relevant is Japan and obviously her home soil Canada.

The thread is 1000 years old but I think that my post was about their last albums and not their total  history. Britney is obviously a lot more successful overall.. "Relevancy" is related to how popular they are in the present.

For example Madonna is a lot bigger than Sam smith obviously overall.But hright now Sam Smith is a lot more relevant than her

Truth is that Avril's last album was more successful than both Glory and Britneyjean
