Tapper told Weaver, “The argument you’re making is that superdelegates should go against the majority of the popular vote and pledged delegates.”

Weaver said the numbers are “deceptive” because of the caucuses. Tapper said, “She still leads.”

He also pointed out that in the history of the superdelegate system, they’ve never gone against the will of the people. Tapper went so far as to say what Weaver and the Sanders camp appears to want is a throwback to the days of smoke-filled rooms and party bosses deciding results.

Ok, but really it all just comes down to the math

JEFF SAYING THAT THE CAUCUSES ARE INDICATIVE OF THE REAL WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

HELP :air:

Caucus turnouts are ridiculously low compared to primaries because they take so much time. People with actual jobs can't just take the entire day off to "caucus" when they can just vote at a primary.

I can't even :air:

Jake Tapper comments on the hypocrisy of Sanders camp wanting the superdelegates to switch. He wants the "bosses" to decide who represents the people. Overturn THREE MILLION VOTES :deadbanana:

---

Tapper also points out that even if super delegates go to the candidate who wins the state, Hillary still remains in the lead. All this twisting and turning to avoid the math.  :air:

Jeff Weaver can't answer a basic question without being hypocritical or clueless.

Don't employ Trump media dismissal tactics. :lolga:

FATCAT

I think the major factor here is the Indictment. Superdelegates have to decide if they want to hand the country to Trump, or not risk the indictment.

Why do you think the Democratic party would take such a humongous risk if they knew there was something there?

Why do you think Hillary would?

No one knows if there is something there.

Hillary wants to be president, when she ran they didn't have all of her emails. What's she going to do? Drop out before they indict? She'll stay in until the FBI recommendation forces her out.

What she wants is immaterial.

If there was a real threat she'd have stepped down. Don't sell her short.

I agree that despite her own confidence there may be something, but it's a long shot.

He just says the common sense arguments. Nothing more. What is biased about it? That Hillary won more votes, more pledges delegates? That the only way for Bernie to win is for superdelegates to go against the will of the voters?

...source?

This isn't an article. This is an interview.

Do you disagree with what the arguments presented? Because this was a two way communication.

Considering he's been harsh on Clinton, he's hardly on an agenda here.
