I do remember when Beyonce dropped her self-titled album and the drama during the pre-album era. She performed at the Super Bowl half time show, then NOTHING for several months. After that, her producers were saying stuff like she was going back to the drawing board and her album lacked direction, then like 2 weeks later, it dropped out of no where with music video accompaniment for every song. I don't see Lady Gaga purposefully using this same strategy to deceive people regarding the status of her album, especially since it's only the fans who care at this point (sorry). If anything, she's being careful to not inflate expectations which happened with Born This Way and ARTPOP. I also don't buy the "she's taking her time to perfect" argument either. Great albums don't need time, they need inspiration. I'm sure she set deadlines for herself and she works to stay on schedule. A schedule we are probably not privy to. Especially since we know the rate in which Gaga works, and it's fast and effective. Inspiration is definitely the key to delivery, not time. This goes for her music, clothing, videos, everything. Also, the Beyonce comparison gives me hope.
