I know lol I'm just confused because you used disturbia as an example and that came out in 08. I'm just saying that good girl gone bad was not Rihanna's album that made her a household name. It was Definetly loud that she began to dominate.

Yeah sorry I'm messy when it comes to dates and stuff  What I was trying to convey was that Disturbia came before Gaga's big & main videos

That part I do totally disagree with, I think it's Umbrella that sent her skyrocketing and made everyone notice that she's here to stay, and then following up with Don't Stop The Music and Take A Bow and Disturbia helped cement that  Subdued again a bit during Rated R until Rude Boy came along, but then yeah Loud did put her back on the map in a big way again, but not as big as Good Girl Gone Bad did in my opinion

lol off topic but I guess I never was into here around that time but it's true umbrella slayed the charts. I guess loud to me brought her back and her videos seemed a lot better.

I think that it's too early for katy to win this, even if they wanted to give it early, Rihanna should have got it this year, cause her career is older, many succesfull singles with popular music videos and also she released an album and singles which would make more sense, since katy is in hibernation now
