Well she could have gone in a more ARTPOP style way loooool. This kind of synth and less compressed sound gives that vibe, with the breakdown.. It could have been, let's say more interesting. I think she did a pretty standard song, but if the whole album was a bit more new wave, synth-pop and still having some elements of 10's electronic dance music, the whole thing would have been much better.

edit. On second listen i don't really hear what i thought, maybe it was because i was listening on computer. But i the synth was a bit more difused sound, kinda fuzzier.

I wish she kept the "Wooooooo " bit. I thought other people were making that sound at first and they were actually celebrating something with the yays. 

And the breakdown after that....

And I'm glad she did.
