ARTPOP SAYS HELLO ITS ME

it under performed because the gp didn't like it, if the lead sounds catchy (appluase) ARTPOP might be bigger. (and oh if the team handled it properly and flawless)

Nah, the GP are always here for great songs! She can do it! She could even wait another two years and still come back with a huge hit if the material was solid. I think she's trying to make sure that's the case, and not a rehash of Pokerface/Bad Romance/Judas.....

The GP is always there lmfao. Nobody's out there waiting for Gaga music. They will be interested if she delivers a fantastic lead single, no matter when that happens. Now quit this melodramatic bs and get back some perspective.

Thats not always the case

many catchy and good singles fail to chart. There isnt room for them all to be successful. Some flop period

No matter how radio friendly something is competition is still there. So it helps if the GP is into you, it increased the odds of your material actually taking off

The status of the artist does matter in an industry as competitive as music. Its not as lax as "oh its catchy, dw, it will be a hit no problem". This is a competitive world not La La land :koons:

this album will flop harder than ARTPOP. I don't really care about success, but she still needs some to get a budger for her tour, videos etc

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

Scratch that last reply. I thought you were talking about something else. I'm a flop.

Still though, IMO, this isn't really meltdown-worthy over since we'd never really know whether the whole thing was actually supposed to build up hype for LG5, it just really is speculation.

Think about it this way... If Gaga released in January, the era might have basically been over by now... but now it hasn't even started!

omg i love your positive thinking

I dont know that it was engineered. May have been coincidence...

But still missed oppurtunity never theless

Its great her immage is now pretty clean and shes respected...

But hype around her is gone... U can be well respected and still flop if there isnt enough interest in you

her image is still the same, its just that the public now knows she can really sing with a golden voice

Gaga got her credibility back big time post-2013. I'm not worried. A quality release from her will be noticed and praised even more because it's her.

But maybe that's actually what Gaga wants for her new album :green:
