I bought a **** ton of all the different sizes of Fame because each size/bundles came with a unique freebie like the vanity box, the tattoo sheet, the glasses, the nails set, the mask and veil crap and the little mini sample vials. I wanted to hoard all. :poot: Now they're just sitting in my closet and I don't like the smell coz it gives me headaches :laughga:

I still haven't listened to the full album of C2C. Every time I try I get a little less than halfway through and I get bored so I change it.

I didn't know about Retro Dance Freak until last year.

I stopped watching her interviews during the ARTPOP era and I actually started getting annoyed with her because I felt like everything in the news was about her vs Katy, the management thing, or people talking about how ARTPOP underperformed.

I was not feeling any ARTrave outfits. I thought they were a hot mess.

I was so uninterested in seeing her perform her last couple of tours so I never bought any tickets.

I was blackout drunk for the entirety of artrave cause I chugged a bottle of wine cause my friend wouldn't have any with me. Not wasting $5 of alcohol was more important to me then remembering gags

I don't think Just Dance, Telephone, Born This Way and G.U.Y are all that and don't get their popularity/fan favoritism.

Her music videos can be rather hit and miss with me. I only like about half of them. Her imagery's iconic and all, but they don't always do it for me. Can't say the one's from the AP era impressed me much at all.

I've never bought any of her singles. I'm old school when it comes to music - I buy physical copies and I've always been an album buyer, not a single buyer. Very awkward when her singles were flopping...:awkney:

I wish she'd just stop with the whole overly avant garde thing in everything she does. It's too pretentious, especially when she explains what her albums are about. Drawn-out explanations that leave people snoring and thinking she's totally weird. Her speaking voice used to be really off too in the early days. Not always coming across as "real" has been a contributing factor in how she's dropped a bit in popularity, I think. Eccentrics can be cool and all, but I can have limited patience with them after a while.

I hated the artRAVE :rip: I was standing right in front of her when she rose up in the Monster claw during DWUW and I wasn't even starstruck. I just looked away 'cause I didn't want to make eye contact with her :poot:

I was standing right in front of her and looked her directly in the eye (or I like to think she did)! I hoped she might see something in me and invite me backstage in that moment. Everyone's trying to make eye contact with her in the hopes of getting noticed and you're avoiding it! :toofunny: And really, you weren't starstruck? I was blown away by how other-wordly it was to have her right in front of me. When she performed Gypsy, it was like looking up at an angel dressed in white.

Love this thread

Okey here is one: Back in 2008, when Gaga performed at Sommarkrysset (in Sweden) we all watched her on TV.. and she had her discostick (with light) close to her glasses. My mother was like "What is that?"
And I went "I think she's blind, not fully, but she has problems, so she uses the light to see" I was being serious...

My mom still DRAGS me with it 8 years later. :toofunny:

That has got to be the cutest thing I've ever read! That was back when Gaga wore dark glasses all the time too! And had those big dogs with her! I see the connection! :lolga:

I thought the Born This Way Ball was horrendous and the artRave merch was ****.

Edit: Oh and I've never listened to C2C but I went to the tour so that evens itself out.

I stopped listening to her for 5 months or around that in 2012 because I thought she was part of the illuminati association. I only watched the Born This Way Ball a few times before I returned to listening to her, then I decided to watch the whole show in around August or September, I don't remember, it was months after the kick-off of the BTWB, and I was surprised by how good it was.
