Slayer 9,227
I have been bopping to Let It Happen ever since I found out she was working with Tame Impala. I'm very happy they're involved. However I still want Gaga to have a more organic sound... but I wouldn't mind a song or two that sound like their stuff. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!! llbcherry 591
It confuses me how people think that having him as a producer will equate to the same "sound" of his music. Producers work with the ARTIST'S material. But yeah, I'm excited to hear his take on GAGA'S music.

I'm seeing them in NY, and the tickets are expensive lmao But do you hear them on Top 40 radio? Or are you left listening to Flop Harmony do vocal acrobatics for 3 and a half minutes, Justin Timberlake's basic bops, and Drake's lukewarm pop-rap? PopBitch 1,218
I am ecstatic I loved Currents when it came out last year. That's so much more up my alley than '80s rockga.

So Gaga won't be groundbreaking as far as the first mainstream pop act to be influenced by that in an album.. And who knows? Maybe Miley isn't the first and I'm missing somone. Going by that, then It could be said that Gaga was copying Miley or influenced by what Miley experimented with as far as psychedelic music.. Miley is a big name in the pop music business and people took note of her experimental album.
Noam Zioni 1,196
Well, it's something new so it's always exciting but I don't want their songs together to have a great influence sound-wise from TI's music

I'm more than happy with Gaga doing a song with no clear structure, as it would mean she's actually taking her stance as an artist seriously and it would show that she's willing to evolve/try something completely new. OP also chose 2 of his worst tracks tbh, these are better: Like, this dude is some next level ****. He's an amazing instrumentalist and composer. I love Daffodils though, wait so Kevin sang in Daffodils? ANyway Daffodils is Mark's work.

Are you trying to suggest that the GP saw MC&HDP as a psychedelic rock album or a good album??? because ummmm

Yeah he sang in daffodils and I think recorded some of the instruments, but Daffodils was Kevin's song first (he wrote all the lyrics and recorded a rough demo with the main guitar riff), Mark heard it when it was a demo and asked Kevin if he could build upon it. But the point is that Mark and Kevin have worked together too and I wouldn't be surprised if they're working together for Gaga again. I really don't see Kevin in Gaga's album as just a producer, I'm convinced he's at least gonna do songwriting as well.
