As a Fiona Apple fan I have to wait every 4-6 years for a new album. I am used to this. It's what happens when an artist provides quality over quantity. It's getting rough with Gaga, but I can manage until 2017.

I've always said the lead single would be premiered in late August with it's debut performance at the VMAs and the album either near Halloween (late October) or Thanksgiving (late November) depending on how expedited Gaga's team wants the release to be. This is still my prediction.

Call me crazy but I don't feel like Gaga is truly ready to put out LG5, the make or break album of her career, in 2016. I feel like she's under a lot of pressure to get the album out THIS year, and its starting to weigh heavy on her. I mean we don't know how far along she is, but the LAST thing I want her to do is pull an ARTPOP and re-tweak/second guess the entire album. 

I'd much rather her take her time and flesh everything out. A spring 2017 release doesn't sound too shabby tbh. Plus we'd have another season of AHS to tie us over in the meantime and a CHIC collaboration. 

I can wait. Can you? Are you absolutely DEMANDING an album be put out this year, or would you fine to wait until 2017 and possibly get a better result and for the Bling lovers, less competition?

She's had since the end of artRAVE to plan the next era but got diverted with Cheek to Cheek and that was 2014. So she's had plenty of time to come up with at least half an era & performances since late 2014. This whole "give her time" excuse is getting old. I highly doubt Gaga has had an entire era planned out start to finish before releasing an album, and honestly all that planning would be silly, things happen, life happens, can't plan every moment of the friggin' era before anything is even released. All that planning and expecting everything to go as planned is what can lead to catastrophe, everything is so planned out then one thing doesn't go as planned, freak out happens, disrupting the plans that were supposed to follow that one original plan that went wrong. It can't be all planned out. That's the way things go sour.

The end plan is determined by the first plan and the following plans to be successful and be completed without problems, if none of those plans go as planned, everything goes amok, the final plan is determined by the initial plans coming to fruition perfectly, if they don't, all that planning for the next phases are disrupted. And all that time spent planning has been wasted and are worthless.

honestly I don't mind waiting another year tbh, but I think it's just the monsters I follow on twitter hyping me up and making me mad for waiting when in truth, she could release in 2020 and I'd still be okay

Hmm, sorry but how do we know the album's starting to weigh heavy on her, and at the same time we know nothing about how far she is with it?  

If anything's to show - she has been teasing her new music the past couple of weeks much more. She barely said a thing during March and April, and I guess she was really hard at work, but now it's starting to take final shape and she is comfortable with Ronson or V magazine or producer X, Y, Z teasing a bit through interviews or social media. I think she is following her schedule quite well, but we can't know if release was planned for Q3 or Q4. Either of which are totally fine by me. I just don't think we need to be worried about whether she will pull it off this time unlike ARTPOP.

Edit: I just remembered that Twitter account nana jj sth that had been teasing Lemonade since August, and at that point it was clear the release will be April, they had ideas for the artwork, the tracklist and the tour. I think Gaga has chosen a deadline for herself as well, so she can put an end to the songwriting process at some point, and put it out. 

I know making the music is only one part. At this point she seems to be heavy in the mixing process, which means she has selected the best songs already. And she needs to have it mastered. At this point, it's safe to assume she had 2 periods of intense work on the album - sessions with RedOne, and sessions with Mark Ronson, so I guess she needs to figure out how they communicate on the album + Diane Warren and Elthon's songs (I dunno how Nile, Garibay, Moroder, and like the 100 friends of Ronson are involved). But just because she has been focused on this part doesn't mean she wasn't thinking about looks, costumes, Haus creations, ideas for music videos. And she is not alone - she got the Haus, she has the label to figure out with her a good slot to release singles and the album, and after the initial reaction they will figure out the scale of the tour, the places, the dates, and so on. And the Haus will have plenty of time to make Gaga's vision come true for the LG5 Tour. So I think we need to calm down and expect it in 2016. Expecting it to be delayed for 2017 is a reach to avoid disappointments, but just look at how often she's been giving small hints, which leads me to believe she is in the final stages. She has already chosen general sound and mood for the record, also looks to accompany it, and we need just a bit more patience to see how it unfolds. Just think of it that way - on 1st January the forum exploded because we were "finally" in the year Gaga will release pop again. And it's been fast 5 months since then. I bet in 5 months time we will already be enjoying the record.

Ummm no...she needs to honestly release this year like she said she would...plus she can at least release a single while still working on the album...that I also don't understand why the delay on a lead is taking so long...
