Where did you buy Born This Way?

I bought it at a local CD store...that same purchase I bought Adele's '21'  And I bought it the day Born This Way was released.

I got all of Gaga's album on the day or release except BTW because I was in a "I hate Lady Gay Gay" phase, until 2 years ago, I fell in love with BTW.

Omg, i would love to have an autograph version of C2C. I really loved this album, listening to Gaga's voice in such a raw way makes me relax and just calm down And about ur i hate lady gay gay phase hahaha I never hated her but what you told me made me remind of when i was younger and i saw some videos accusing her of being an Illuminati, and claiming that the Bad Romance video was satanic af and it had these crazy analysis that creeped me out back in the day hahaha So i was so scared of Gaga in 2009 when i saw these videos, that i told myself that i would never listen to her again. But 2 weeks later, i was listening to her again and the satanic theories just made my interest for her grow up

Sadly it's all sold out. I hope she does another collab with some local record store and do autpgraph CDs again. 

I hated her during the release of BTW because I thought she was too gay pandering and I didn't like any of the songs (until I relisten to them later). The ironic part is that I bought tickets to BTW Ball even though the album was my cup of tea.

iTunes and a physical copy from HMV when passing by, and then another copy from either HMV in person or online from Amazon  The physical copies I got a few weeks after my digital one

same with ARTPOP it was like $12 after tax

I had NO idea what I was getting in to. I had NO IDEA my life was going to change from that day forward. I had no idea that music could change me in the way it did.

I became a huge fan once she released Born This Way as a single. I remember seeing her perform at the Grammy awards with her prosthetics and latex and killing every moment of it. She slayed me with that performance and I was reborn agayn. But I didn't really follow her still at that point.

I remember waiting outside for the music/gaming/tech store to open at 7am and running inside to see a stand all set up. Grabbed one, purchased it, excitedly popped it on in my car, and didn't remove it from my CD player for a whole year (maybe even longer).

I never knew I could love a whole album start to finish, or become so dedicated to an artist. At some point in time EVERY song off BTW has been my favourite song. I've literally listening to it thousands of times.

BTW has a special place in my heart forever. The album and the whole badass era.

I have, I've played it myself sometimes in both the kitchen and the car but she's never listened to it of her own accord  

No I'm not afraid LOL, it's not like the album is dripping in "I'm gay", the single itself seems very empowering to loads of people so I assume she's taken it as that - equality and all

The album is definitely dripping in "I'm gay" if you really listen to it, its not just the titular track "Born This Way", its all kinds of coming out of the closet and acceptance metaphors that, while applicable to many identities include no other you could possible be  "Hair", "Bad Kids" and "Americano" specially  

(Unless you are also actually an illegal immigrant, hispanic, or a woman or something  )
