Is it time for male celebrities to start wearing dresses to events?

Modern dress design is meant to be femizing. They're designed to make women look even more like women. I'm all for queer celebrities but that's where I see this idea starting and ending.

Male fashion is a very serious and well thought out industry and if you don't think so stop shopping at K Mart and shop for nice clothes :spin:

Is that why every single piece looks the same? :koons:

You are one of those stubborn close-minded people I guess...

Well, can't they wear whatever they want to wear? What if they like wearing suits, which have more variety than you give them credit for? There's just no reason to completely abandon the perfectly good style of suits

If they want to, they should. I used to have a boyfriend wear a dress for me. He carried it off well, it's not for everyone though and you really have to match the style of the dress well with the man.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

But what if they don't want to? The thing is they have to, because society tells them that men could only be seen as strong and confident if they wear suits.

Exactly. Go get yourself a nice, tailored suit and you'll be touching yourself all day :hor:

There is definitely less variety in fashion in menswear compared to womenswear, particularly on the red carpet. I wish it was more interesting. :neyde:

Well at some point in time they should. Women are already starting to wear suits. Hell, your profile pic is a great example.

I get it, it's because wearing dresses is feminine, and being feminine is seen as inferior, right?! That's going to have change honey.

Idk about dresses, just something more innovative, which also puts the pressure on the fashion designers and companies to make change happen. I usually shop in the women's section for everything other than comfortable clothing (minus leggings :emma: ) and men's section for lazy, comfortable wear + dress wear because society's stupid :awkney:

Can we just get rid of gender roles tbh :neyde:

Dresses and Skirts can be liberating :sara:
