Bernie Sanders: DNC failed to represent people in NV

Party leaders in Nevada, for example, claim that the Sanders campaign has a ‘penchant for violence.’ That is nonsense. Our campaign has held giant rallies all across this country, including in high-crime areas, and there have been zero reports of violence. Our campaign of course believes in non-violent change and it goes without saying that I condemn any and all forms of violence, including the personal harassment of individuals. But, when we speak of violence, I should add here that months ago, during the Nevada campaign, shots were fired into my campaign office in Nevada and apartment housing complex my campaign staff lived in was broken into and ransacked."

- The chair of the convention announced that the convention rules passed on voice vote, when the vote was a clear no-vote. At the very least, the Chair should have allowed for a headcount.

- The chair allowed its Credentials Committee to en mass rule that 64 delegates were ineligible without offering an opportunity for 58 of them to be heard. That decision enabled the Clinton campaign to end up with a 30-vote majority.

- The chair refused to acknowledge any motions made from the floor or allow votes on them.
- The chair refused to accept any petitions for amendments to the rules that were properly submitted.

The discord made it impossible for any reasonable voting measures or motions to go through.

58 were ineligible because it was clear they were abusing the system for their own goals and had sketchy backgrounds. Most were Republican registered a few days before. That the entire thing ended up being a hot mess is sketchy as ****.

The chair can't cooperate if the Sanders supporters wouldn't cooperate. People screaming and booing is not conducive to anything productive.

For crying out loud I wish some people would actually put what they're saying in context.

First they're trying to establish the chair as biased because she supports Clinton. No ****. All Senators support Clinton because she's been in the party for 25 years as opposed to the opportunist Bernie Sanders. He has never exhibited any willingness to cooperate with anyone and has not done anything outside the scope of his own agenda. Why would she NOT be with Clinton in practice? Does Bernie even have ANY supporters in the Senate? Maybe 1? 

The issue is that they are trying to claim that this makes her biased in the position itself is ridiculous. She's still a Democrat representative and people claiming bias are doing so out of their own biased perspectives. Her supporting Clinton in person doesn't make her biased in action. What an idiotic accusation to lob at someone who has never displayed animosity towards Bernie supporters.

Then they claim that she voted that way because of corruption. I don't think you even know what corruption is. You're not supposed to display corruption in the public eye for everyone to see. That's a career death sentence. Why would she so VISIBLY and so TRANSPARENTLY alter the rules if there were not legitimate concerns that need to be addressed. Do you think she was trying to get away with it? How ****ing stupid do you think people are?

ABOVE ALL ELSE, why would she even try to screw people over? Hillary doesn't need those votes. The bad press that would result from a potential scandal LIKE THIS is not worth 1 or 2 delegates when she's 300 in the lead. People are trying to establish victim status as if there was ANY reason Hillary needed to win this. They totally blew this **** out of proportion to satisfy their own hunger for a ****ing participation award.

Like honestly? It's clear that the entire thing was a hot ****ing mess and it could have ended up much differently if people weren't rioting like imbeciles and barbarians. I'd bet on it.

I didn't even say that the situation wasn't a mess. I'm telling you it was a mess because Sanders supporters made it one. Talking in retrospect is dismissive of the reality and tumultuous nature of the situation.

They were ineligible because they were not registered Democrats as per the rules. Many of the delegates who were ineligible admitted that they had changed their party registration prior to the convention "out of disgust".

Not that any of that matters because the only reason the delegate split had been so close before was because some Clinton delegates failed to show up at the first convention and it allowed Sanders campaign to take some delegates from her. The delegate split as of now in Nevada reflects the popular vote in Nevada. Period.

The whole idea that Clinton, who is nearly 300 pledged delegates and 3 Million votes ahead of Bernie, somehow needs to steal delegates from Sanders is utterly ridiculous. There is literally nothing that indicates Bernie could overtake her in either pledged delegates or popular vote.
