Do you not see the pie chart in the picture you posted on this thread... it said Hillary, Trump, or "other". The question really implied that it was a choice between Trump or CH.

Many Sanders supporters are simply closet Republicans who were never going to vote for him in the general to begin with.

Because they are overwhelmingly independents as opposed to Democrats. The nature of this particular primary makes it easy to believe that they are not supporting Sanders but opposing Clinton.

So the Bernie supporters in this case seem to be nothing more than closet Trump supporters.

This is a stark contrast from many figures such as the following that have Bernie supporters refusing to vote for Trump

So there's this discrepency here that can't be accounted for.

That first link is kinda biased but ok. 

I can see the correlation you're making. However, it's only true for this state. So I'd be interested to see if this happens in the future primaries.

O well I never made the implication that this implies to anyone outside the state. Everything I have said applies to these people and these people alone.

Although I wonder if the trend of independents subverting the open nature of these democratic primaries for their own advantage to help Trump will continue.
