LebaneseDude 6,146 Posted May 11, 2016 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Via Politico: Touting his Tuesday night victories, Donald Trump unveiled a new moniker for yet another political adversary: “Crazy Bernie.” “Big wins in West Virginia and Nebraska,” the presumptive Republican presidential nominee tweeted Wednesday morning. “Get ready for November - Crooked Hillary, who is looking very bad against Crazy Bernie, will lose!” The “Crazy Bernie” nickname comes as Trump signals that he wants Sanders' supporters to back him in the fall, aping the Vermont senator's attacks on Clinton's "judgment" and picking up on some of his other rhetorical tropes. “I think a lot of the young people that are with Bernie Sanders are going to come to my side because they want jobs. Bernie Sanders and I agree on one thing, trade, that we don’t know what we’re doing on trade,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “The difference is, I’ll make great deals out of it. He doesn’t know what to do. The people that are with Bernie Sanders, the young people, I really believe they’re going to come over and vote for me. I think we’re going to have a lot of crossover.” The “Crazy Bernie” nickname rounds out the list of Trump’s renamed opponents — “Crooked Hillary,” “Lyin’ Ted,” “Little Marco” and “Low-energy Jeb.” ---- Did he lie? Bernie's supporters can easily be won over by demonizing Hillary, praising Sanders and talking more about his way 'to achieve world peace' by 'becoming friends with other countries' and demilitarizing. Also, Bernie supporters aren't going to flock to him. Bernie has already spoken multiple times about not voting for trump against all odds.
