They aren't indicative of the nation, though. This is really just a specific case. (Though, you could see this same trend with other industry and trade based states) Oh yeah I totally get that it's probably not going to be indicative of the nation in the general, but I just found it really interesting. We'll have to see if Hillary get's enough of Sander's supporters elsewhere in order to stop Trump..

The poll said Trump, Hillary, or others. Considering the amount of MSM writing off Bernie, many people think Hillary and Trump are already in the GE. Just by using some analytic demographics, it's not shocking that Bernie won. What's odd is that 40% of Bernie's supporters would not vote for him in the general. That's all there is to it. Yeah obviously if enough people, but at this point it'd be unprecedented with the current strength of the two parties. Single member district plurality is a b*tch to 3rd party candidates unfortunately.

He's at 1433, she's at 1,716, and there are still plenty of delegates left. It's not over til the convention. This kitten over here (meow)

Don't extrapolate your own conclusions. And it's not shocking either. WJ has a remarkable number of independent voters. That they support Sanders does not mean they will support a Democratic nominee in the general. The reason I call them closet Republicans is that there is no such thing as a truly moderate independent. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
