Zayn's father is British Pakistani, most likely born in UK and his mother is white English/Irish. 

Even if they were refugees, nothing wring with that, just saying. Would she like others to call her and her mother in a same way her ancestors were called? Probably not.

For me it's about the music and she keeps all that out of it. The stupid stuff she says is confined to her Twitter for the most part. If people hate her point of view so much stay off her social media. It's not that deep.

On the top of my head, there's the threads about Arab people getting kicked out of planes for speaking arabic, all the cultural appropriation debates, JB's dreadlocks and their implications about whether or not white people have the right to copy black traditions.

I never said that, I said people don't ever get on their box unless it involves AB and certainly don't get as passionate about racial issues. You guys go so hard towards each other and some irrelevant signer, but I've never seen that kind of passion and anger towards the real issues themselves. EVER.
