Trump, Clinton tied in 3 swing-state polls

Her trust ratings are worse than his. She is going to be interviewed by the FBI next week. She's barely even convinced her own party to nominate her, despite being the "most qualified candidate" to ever run. People are being very naive if they think Hillary just has to turn up to win. Trump dominates news cycles and destroys his opponents. Since the day he announced people have been saying "He's just too unpopular to get elected", and yet he keeps winning and is tied in the swing states.

Stop pulling statements out of your ass. None of these are true or relevant.

They're very true and they're very relevant. You and the news can try to hide the facts, but the internet and google are your downfall.

This is rich. NOW you trust the Internet and Google after I've brought dozens of articles to you in discussions which you always deflected or deliberately ignored in favor of jumping to the next point.

That you are supporting Trump over Hillary in these discussions shows how deeply rooted and irrational your hatred to her is. :wtf: The same Trump who stands in polar opposite to what Bernie stands for. What in the world?

Let me bring in those facts that you so readily dismiss whenever I have an argument with you because you wallow in your very sad confirmation bias.

And for ****'s sake I know you dislike Hillary but saying that Trump is more honest is beyond asinine.

Hillary is not going to get indicted.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/04/hillary-clinton-prosecution-past-cases-221744

In fact as soon as this farce is over, it will make her look better

====

"Barely convinced" is an idiotic argument. Clinton was running against Sanders. Both have their merits. Hillary won, so she convinced people to vote for her. It's as simple as that.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/democratic_vote_count.html

Was she supposed to win by MORE than 3 million votes or something? How much of a landslide do you expect?

If Bernie won it was always going to be by a hair. That he didn't speaks of his failures not his strengths.

You think you overzealous Bernie or Bust supporters are the majority? :air: You think you are relevant? At most you are 10% of the Bernie constituency :air: Even Trump has his own naysayers, and these numbers will shrink over time as Bernie fades into obscurity once again.

The funny part is that polls like this ignore the fact that Hillary is still facing Bernie and so they are inevitably affected by that situation.

----

Trump dominates news cycles but only for his negativity. People have already formed their opinion on him. If he hasn't lost voters now he isn't going to lose them later. Hillary's base won't change either.

Interestingly enough, polls like the above are showing that support for Trump is decreasing among the GOP constituency while Hillary's is increasing as Democrats warm up to her. Her favorability was low, as was Donald's, but the gap is only increasing. The changes won't be that significant, but all it takes is single digits to win and Hillary is already in the national lead.

In any case, we're just seeing history repeat itself.

Here's a nice article that explains how confirmation bias in politics goes.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-election_us_572cae72e4b016f378957726

Case in point: Trump's rebranding and media dominance won't affect Hillary because she's inoculated by it.

---

Not looking forward to the next thing you post that is totally dismissive of the facts you are so readily championing right now.

Those poll numbers are way out of date. The new poll results of the swing states shows Trump beating Hillary in a lot of those categories. She is not a good campaigner at all, especially compared to him, so I think it will only get worse for her unfortunately!

Not you taking results from swing states as an applicable generalization to the entire country :air:

Well swing states are going to be where the election is decided, and issues specific to those places.

Well that's great. I find it funny you call a 2 month old poll out of date, but are quite comfortable assuming that these polls will remain relevant in 6 months, especially when trends have been showing decreases for Trump and increases for Hillary :rip:

It's all about trend and momentum. I see that going one way at the moment. I won't say which, but time will tell if my judgement is correct.

You did see the poll regarding the trends right?

Trump's favorability is only going down as he alienates more people while people get more comfortable with the established Hillary.

In the end though. even Trump and Hillary naysayers will eventually fold and vote for the candidate they swore off.

So these polls are hardly accurate to begin with.

The issue here is that we're talking about Trump, a self-destructive egomaniacal immature entertainment politician who can't even be taken seriously.

True. Everything will change after the conventions and it will be one on one war daily and the parties will rally to each candidates side. Trump will make a play for union workers and try to get to her left on various issues which will be interesting.

I'm not supporting Trump, in fact, I'd support Hillary over Trump any day, so don't assume that I'm somehow showing an "irrational fear." That's just your own BS. People have many reasons to distrust Hillary, while Trump hasn't had 50 opportunities like Hillary. Here is some proof, if you needed it. Hillary is seen as less honest than trump and more dishonest.

One poll = proof?

That's what irks me. You find one source and use it as some sort of factual evidence.

I posted 4 different polls, in one subsection of my entire argument.

Also I make sure I understand the population of those polls. YouGov selects its population from its own membership, so YouGov is biased towards online voters. Guess which demographic uses the Internet the most consistently? It's definitely not representative of the US population.

Also I never used MY Polls as proof. I used them as supplementary arguments.

So, when you use them, they're supplementary, but when I use them, they're primary?

Also, you only posted 2. Good try, though.
