People are saying its generic, but let's face it generic sells. The top pop acts are very rarely defined as outside of the box or fringe. So it should have sold. I think Christina's problem is that she no longer connects with her audience (the GP). It's less about the music and more about people just not liking her and as a result not liking what she has to offer. I personally love her, but the GP just doesn't respond to her. I think she needs to hire a really good PR person and just rebuild her brand. Not change her but emphasize the parts of her that the GP loved when she was popular. The music will take care of its self. She has never put out really horrible stuff. Not to say you can't be fat and successful, i just think that has to be ur brand to begin with (i.e. Adele). It seems once you gain weight as a pop star after being skinny, it hurts ur career.
